Senior Management with Delegated AML Compliance Responsibilities
This update session provides Senior Managers holding the delegated AML compliance responsibility on behalf of their firms’ governing bodies (but who are not also the MLRO) a concise update on the matters of current interest and concern to those in such managerial positions.
The latest Money Laundering Regulations warranted substantial re drafting of the Joint Money Laundering Steering Group Guidance. This session will identify the significant changes that Senior Management will need to have addressed.
The FSA has already fined a firm and its CEO personally for a corporate failure to comply with existing requirements. It is therefore imperative that the designated Senior Managers of all regulated firms fully understand the changes that should have taken place if they and their firms are to avoid suffering similar penalties.
