This briefing is aimed at time pressed Directors and Senior Managers who are unable to attend CCL's more thorough 3 hour SYSC session.  This is an ideal session to have at your offices, in conjunction with a Board/Senior Management meeting, when all those who need to fully understand their responsibilities under FSA Rules will be in attendance.

The briefing will provide a whistle-stop tour of the most crucial elements of the Senior Management Arrangements, Systems and Controls section of the FSA Handbook, an understanding of which is essential for all Directors and Senior Managers, particularly in the current climate.

 The session will also touch upon matters which the FSA has in the pipeline, to ensure that Senior Managers are well prepared for changes as they come into force; for example, the proposals to introduce new rules into SYSC dealing with the obligation upon firms to reverse stress and scenario test their various functions.

It is vital that the requirements in SYSC are understood by Senior Management in order to acheive full compliance and avoid regulatory censure.
